Cedar Basseater
These U.S.A. custom, handcrafted topwater lures are individually made to the highest standards. These lures are made using clear Western Cedar and lots of love and hard work. Cedar is used for workability and buoyancy. For maximum durability we apply two coats of marine grade epoxy to everyone of our topwater lures. For the most enticing and alluring tails we use dyed bucktails for a nice choice of colors and we also add flashabou to a lot of our tails. Through years of trial and error we have found that Mustad triple grip hooks deliver excellent fish holding results. These hooks come standard on all of our lures. 3-d eyes and a glitter epoxy finish coat give your lure a lifelike look. Any combination of colors on the body or the tail are available. Tell us what you want and we will do our best to deliver. All of our pretied tails are usually two colors or more. Each lure body has at least at least six coats of finish, a combination of epoxy and paint. When they are done they look great are very durable. With a solid wooden bait, versus a hollow plastic bait, you never have to worry about cracking it or busting it. You may chip the paint but that will be about all.
